Orange Surgical Group (OSG) is currently represented by a core of five surgeons practicing on both the Arden Hill and Horton campuses of Orange Regional Medical Center.  We specialize in providing quality services in general surgery, vascular surgery and colorectal surgery.

Together our group offers the largest experience of our region in:
   
    1.      Gastrointestinal surgery.

    2.      Breast surgery including breast conservation procedures for cancer of the breast,
             sentinel lymph node excision as well as total mastectomy, radical lymph node dissection and coordinated plastic surgical breast

             reconstructions.       

    3.      Thyroid and parathyroid surgery for benign and malignant disorders.
    4.      Laparoscopic and open gallbladder and biliary tract surgery.
    5.      Melanoma and sentinel lymph node surgery.
    6.      Inguinal and abdominal hernia repairs including "key-hole" or laparoscopic repairs.
    7.      Colorectal surgery for benign and malignant diseases including rectal sparing procedures.
    8.      Pediatric surgery for hernias and pyloric obstruction.
    9.      Vascular surgery including carotid surgery for stroke prevention, leg bypasses for limb
             salvage, open and endovascular aortic aneurysm surgery, renal dialysis access grafts
             and minimally invasive radiofrequency venous procedures for varicose veins and venous
             insufficiency.

Including experienced general surgeons, our group is proud to have Fellowship trained vascular surgeons and a Fellowship trained colorectal surgeon.  Our vascular surgeons have performed over 1,000 carotid endarterectomies and repairs and over 500 limb salvage by-passes in the last 25 years.  We offer, in conjunction with our interventional radiology colleague's, endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair with over 5 years of excellent results.  Our colorectal experience expands a wide breadth as well.  For patients with benign and malignant disease of the colon and rectum, Orange Surgical Group offers a variety of treatment options.  Whether the problem is hemorrhoids or rectal prolapse or colon and rectal cancer, we have the expertise to help.  Many of the benign problems can be taken care of in the office with minimal discomfort and maximal convenience.  Our surgeons offer sphincter sparing surgery including ultralow anterior resections as well as coloanal anastomoses when appropriate.  We have the largest county experience in laparoscopic colon resection for either cancer or benign diseases.  This technique offers quick recovery with minimal scarring.
